Neglecting my blog for a very Long time as usual.

But I’m always back with better stuff.

I’ve been so caught up with trying to deal with skin issues, and I admit I have been neglecting my scalp also. Thanks to Sample Store & Cove Aesthetics, I can start managing my scalp issues. I was soon greeted by Amber after stepping into Cove Hairlab who led me into a seemingly private room for my hair treatment. I like how it feels almost like I just entered a hotel and am preparing for a staycay. Also, the design of the room and the mirror makes it perfect for photo taking 😉

 




 


Amber was amiable and definitely very well equipped with her hair care knowledge. She started by showing me the current condition of my scalp and also patiently explaining all the different types of scan she’s doing for me.

 

After understanding the condition of my scalp and also addressing my concerns, she then began the treatment that best suited my woes. 

 

First up was the Oxyjet Spray which helped to remove dead cells while giving oxygen to the pores! It probably feels like air blown on your scalp, but GOOD ONES! 😍

 




After that, she applied a mask on my scalp, and I absolutely love it! It’s damn cooling and refreshing! PS: their hair masks are all given according to your hair condition! And I feel this is damn good?! Amber left the mask on for about 15 mins before washing and conditioning my hair.

 





Afterwards, she applied a hair tonic for me, which is said to help hair growth and cleansing of the scalp! Not only that, she even helped massage the scalp as it will promote blood circulation for better absorption!! 😍 Who doesn’t love a good massage!!!!




After everything, Amber showed me the condition of my scalp again. And the results will not be the same for everybody as it depends on individuals as well as your scalp condition!

The white shiny patches are how oily my scalp is it was definitely not as oily after the treatment!

I’m not, alright.

How long can one person hold on for?
How long more can I hold on?
How long more, will I continue to stay strong?

I’m probably just stressing myself over the small issues,
But then again it’s those small things that matter doesn’t it?

It’s not fair at all that I’m swallowing everything I could for people who don’t seem to give s ahit.
It’s not fair at all that I’m always the one giving.

I’ve been giving in so much, holding back so much that I think I can no longer hold on as much as I want to.

I can’t keep people who constantly make use of you.
Making you pay, making you wait and showing no remorse at all.

And I’m so upset and disappointed for people whom confided in me, asking for help. And when I gave all my time to give proper legit advice, and the truth. And then they do the exact opposite and just ignore everything you say.
Even after knowing that they’re absolutely wrong, they show no remorse at all still.

And then there’re also people out there who can tell you the world, but it’ll take them so many excuse and months to actually execute something.
Am I suppose to still continue trusting you to upset myself?

I’ll really miss those good memories I had with these people,

But I can’t do it anymore,
I can’t live the rest of 2019 reprimanding myself thinking I’ve done wrong,
Thinking that I’ve not been giving enough,
Or that I have been putting myself in their shoes.
I did, I have had done so.

But all I got in return is all these unreciprocated feelings.
It’s not fair, it’s killing me so badly but it’s not affecting anybody at all.

I’m feeling so stuffed.
I’m so done trying to stay awake thinking about what I can do for everybody else,
I’m so done with insomnia,
So done with crying myself to sleep.

I’m so done being the only one helping myself,
I’m so done trying to make myself and people around me happy.

But I’m not.
I’m not.
I’m really not alright,

TAICHUNG 2017

So I haven't really talked about my trip to TW last year.
but trust me, everytime I'm back in TW it's like a whole new experience.
This time in Taichung, Bae planned the itinerary and brought me to tons of night markets, and a few cafes!

So out of all the cafes I've went to, there are some that I really like the atmosphere and food.


1. 艸水木堂 Cao Shui Mu Tang

Located within the stretch of shop/terrace houses.
Pretty much looking like a normal terrace house with a garden and all.
Took me awhile to actually confirm that this was the cafe.



Was greeted by these animal carousel the moment I stepped in.
Its just a very small shop front that can probably fit about 6pax?
But don't worry, they have the whole garden right outside for you to enjoy.
but sadly I didn't get any pictures of the garden because it was already late evening when I went over



Not exactly a bread person, but I'm telling you,
their lobster sandwich stole my heart.

So, it's probably a given to have desserts after dinner...
and here comes my favourite Ice cream cafe.

Located just by the road side, and very easily recognisable.
BECAUSE THEY HAVE A FREAKING HUGE GELATO SEE-SAW.

Whats the point of coming to an IC Cafe and not ordering icecream.
And with a glass of Passionfruit fizzzzz. :)
Sorbet was good, so was the fizz.
But my heart was already stolen by the view.

okay, I think I actually did hog the pool a little longer than expected for photos.
But I cant help it!!






3.  飪室 Ren Shi

Located along the streets further down,
is one of my fav curry house.


 ^ Chicken tikka

 ^ Korma Curry (I think)
 ^ Garlic Naan
^ Aloo Fry

This is by far my FAVOURITE indian curry,
the curry is aromatic and slighty sweet, unlike the usual curry we always have in prata shop. however its not like japan curry as well. I can't even describe the taste in words but its just damn good!

And the aloo fry is very well seasoned, crispy in the outside and soft on the inside.

Garlic Naan, nuff said. 

Last but not least, the chicken.
Just perfect. the taste, the smell, and the texture. 
and the the sauce, o m g. 
I need some renshi curry now. :(

// DR HSIEH Mandelic Acid Home-Peeling Acid

Just another good recommendation skincare product from TW that I wanna talk about!


Well, if you haven't heard about mandelic acid, let me do the honour.
