7D6N @ TW 《愛在台灣 💕 LOVE IN TAIWAN》1/2
Finally embark on my 7D6N trip to TW (Taipei & Yilan) with bae (@MichLMS) from 17-23/11/15.
Poor me still have work before my flight to TW, having to wake up at 2 in the wee hours is no joke T^T. But thankfully, it was just a short day at work. Rush home to bathed and do a last check before I head to the airport. Thankfully Mum had the day off so she brought bro along and sent me to the airport, talk abut having someone to carry my luggage to airport :P
Airport selfie with Bae before boarding.
5 hours on air isn't that bad practically cause I spent maybe 4.5 hours sleeping away.
That aside, FINALLY ARRIVED AT TAOYUAN INTL AIRPORT.
Made our way to Taoyuan station via airport bus, and changing to train to get to Taipei Station.
Met up with Vivienne, ZhiYuan and Song @ Taipei station. MRT-ed down to ShuangLian and walked over to our Airbnb room.
Took me awhile to climb up to the 5th storey with my 27" luggage. But it was gorgeous!
Dropped our bags and headed to Ning Xia Night Market 寧夏夜市.
First trip to TW and first ever TW Night Market, and if you bet I was excited like mad, you're just about right! Just looking at the whole street of food stalls made me salivate, and not forgetting about all the main stores at the side. There was just so much to see, eat and drink!
Getting There/
Alight from Shuang Lian MRT station,
Exit via Exit 1.
Turn left and walk all the way straight till you see Ning Xia's Signpost.
Address : Ningxia Rd, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan 103

Something interesting and I don't think we have it in SG?

Street food for dinner is a must especially on our first night. Bought so much food that I didn't managed to snap any photos cause I was starving :( Missing the street food so badly as I am typing this. Alpha rush over to meet us after ending work! Time seems to pass so fast and it was already midnight. First night was so amazing I couldn't wait to see how the rest of the trip turned out!
(DAY 2)
LEGGO DAY 2. Check out our very cute and personal balcony! And I so love the cooling weather there! (especially after being cooked by SG's super hot weather!)
Breakfast at 7-11 because we be cool kids, (just kidding, cause most of the food stores are close and this was one of the nearest and fastest option to fill our tummy.)
Walked over to Zhong Shan Station via Shuang Lian's underground shop. And because the shop are all closed, but the shutters are pretty cool. So, yupp. The tourist in me can't stop snapping.
Pop by Alpha's work place before we head to Long Shan Shi Temple (龍山寺) after that.
Very ultra shock even their stores are at least 4 storeys high. Probably climb 2 months worth of stairs in a full 24 hours in TW. Back on track, off we go to the temple!

Nearest MRT station : 龍山寺 (blue line)
Quite amazed at how pretty Long Shan Temple is, and they had this mini waterfall that I major love!!!
Alright! Next stop, Ximending! Was a little upsetting because we were there around noon but most of the shops ain't open yet T^T. So we decided to have an early lunch instead! And ofc, being as lazy as we can be, we went to the nearest eatery which we could find, and it happened to be a cafe next door! So hello there In% Cafe!

Started our shopping after lunch!
Cuteness. Overload. Somebody. Help.
I was so so so tempted to get all of it like seriously. Like, SAY REAL.T^T But Bae stopped me lah, cause I can't contain my excitement AT ALL. (and mostly because it was so expensive -insert crying emoji-)
Hours inside 2 building and shopping took up approximately 4 hours of our time, I have no idea how too. Since we were too busy walking around, and actually there wasn't much to snap inside.
The light's on, crowd's here, but the sun was setting and we were leaving :(. Headed down to QSquare (京站時尚廣場) around 630 to meet the rest for dinner. And since we had spare time on hand, we decided to pop by Agnes B's Cafe!
Their cakes all look so delicious and adorable, but since we were having out dinner soon, I held back my urge to get 'em qtcakes,
Dinner at Hot7! Since Bae was craving for Teppan. Cabbed over from QSquare tgt with Vivienne and Kai. Met ZhiYuan and Song directly by the restaurant since they're closer to the restaurant than us.
Hot7 only have 1 menu, 6 different dishes, and you can only pick the soup, mains and drink. Cost a total of NT$299 + 10 per pax. (Check it out here!)

-smirk- So. Its ladies nights on wednesday in TW as well!
but well, no night clubs since the rest have work and they don't want to head back too late.
So we visited a bar instead!
Hello *inHouse, hello 5 cocktail, hello 25 shots, hello 3 beers and hello 6 ciders

I wish the night lasted longer :( where all the games and laughter was at its peak and when I had no troubles.
(DAY 3)
Overslept and postponed our Sky Lantern till late noon. Had breakfast at DTF with Bae and Kai. Went to get milktea while waiting for our queue number to be called. First try for Ma Jiang Mian and Ji Tang Mian.
Sightseeing at CKS Memorial Hall since it was cause it was nearby. Definitely can't miss taking picture of the sky since it was so so nice!
Parted with Kai, and we decided to head down to Ping Xi but we changed our plans last minute after realizing the wait for the next train to Ping Xi from Rui Fang was 40 mins away, and we still have to travel and all. And that we're meeting the rest about 3 hours later. So we alighted at Rui Fang and headed to Jiu Fen instead.

^ Really love train tracks,
Hello Jiu Fen!
The weather was way cooler since we are on a mountain, and the view was spectacular!!
Getting There/
Alight from Rui Fang Train Station,
Search for the Exit to Jiufen. (Can't rememeber which exit was it)
Look for the bus stop that serves Keelung Transit Bus Towards Jiufen.

Halfway into Jiufen, and the sky was already dark, not to mention meeting the girls in less than an hours' time. Cabbed back to Taipei station because the bus queue was super long and we were tired, and since its still pretty cheap? Hehe. Met up with Vivienne and Song before training home, and packing up dinner from Ningxia Night Market. Having food from night market everyday hehe, living the life!
Roadside teppan for dinner at out balcony while feeding our (maybe just mine) blood to mosquitos. Not forgetting HTHT since we're all girls. Headed to bed with a very excited heart for the next day!
That's all for Part 1 now. Check out Part 2 (Taipei & Yilan) @ http://darilynxsh.blogspot.sg/2015/12/7d4n-tw-love-in-taiwan22.html
